Cali's passion for dogs is truly inspiring. It all started during her time volunteering at the Humane Society of the Desert. What began as a mission to walk shelter dogs and rescue abandoned dogs in the desert has grown into a dedicated rescue organization. With unwavering commitment, she has rescued hundreds of dogs, ensuring they find loving homes and brighter futures. Her incredible journey showcases the impact one person can make in the lives of countless animals.
Macaria
Foster and Adoption Coordinator
Macaria is a retired stay-at-home wife with a passion for animals. With a heart full of compassion, she has dedicated her time to helping dogs in need, networking and finding homes for shelter dogs. Her commitment to these furry friends shines through in every effort she makes, bringing joy and hope to their lives. Through her work, Macaria embodies the spirit of kindness and community, making a meaningful difference in the lives of many dogs.
Sean
Fundraising Coordinator
Seeing firsthand the abuse and neglect of so many of our pets in the Coachella Valley, Sean knew that, in some way, he had to get involved to be part of the solution. That's when Sean learned about Rescue Lyfe and the amazing pet rescues they perform daily in our communities with minimal resources. Sean is truly honored to be part of such a courageous and dedicated volunteer rescue team helping save our defenseless best friends who desperately need our help!!
Kelly
Fundraising Coordinator
Kelly's journey started as a volunteer at the Humane Society of the Desert, where she devoted herself to walking and rescuing dogs. Currently, at Rescue Lyfe, she is deeply passionate about raising awareness for the care and protection of animals in need. She works diligently to organize initiatives that support their well-being through fundraising and inspiring others to ensure that every dog the love, care, and attention they deserve.
Marla
Website Design & Administrator
Marla is an author, graphic designer, former actress, and Integrative Nutritional Health Coach who has always had a deep love for animals. Heartbroken by the growing number of vulnerable, mistreated, and abandoned dogs in the Coachella Valley, she felt compelled to take action. Her journey into animal rescue began with a life-changing moment: when Cali came to help her, Sean, and some others save a dog abandoned in the desert. This life-changing experience solidified her commitment to supporting Cali’s rescue efforts and advocating for these beautiful, deserving pups.
